Many Republicans of today wonder
why the Republicans that they voted for who said they were Conservatives are
not living up to their Conservative claims.
There is a reasonable explanation for this phenomenon. Legislators and career politicians like
Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky and former Ohio Congressman and Former
Speaker of the House John Boehner Former Speaker Paul Ryan and The Late Senator John McCain of Arizona and
Congressman Peter King of New York and many others too numerous to mention are liberal
Progressives RINO's. A fairly good litmus test to measure whether a Republican is a
Progressive is to take a look at their Conservative Review Liberty score. If
the representatives Liberty score is less than a B letter grade chances are
they are a Progressive. This would also explains why Barak Hussein Obama AKA Barry Sortore has
been given free rein to trample the Constitution and continue his Marxist
agenda his so called “Fundamental Transformation “ of America. It’s all happening
because what Liberal Progressive Republicans want is what Obama wants they all
want the government to be in control of every aspect of our lives. As they feel
as We the People are not smart enough to make decisions on our own so we need
to have the government to make them for us. In short Progressive Republicans
are Fabian Socialists /Marxists to quote Andrew Breitbart in his 2011 book Righteous Indignation “Progressivism
merges the Hegelian dialect with Marxism
backed by Rosy Rousseau-ian view of humanity. Progressivism is soft Marxism
without the class struggle”. To prove the point of how closely related
Socialism and Progressive Republicanism are here is an excerpt from a speech by
Theodore Roosevelt entitled The New
Nationalism from 1910 “ We grudge no man a fortune in civil life
if it is honorably obtained and well used. It is not even enough that it should
have been gained without doing damage to the community. We should permit it to
be gained only so long as the gaining represents benefit to the community.
This, I know, implies a policy of a far more active governmental interference
with social and economic conditions in this country than we have yet had, but I
think we have got to face the fact that such an increase in governmental
control is now necessary.” When Roosevelt intervened in the United Mine Workers
strike, ordering the mine owners to agree to arbitration. If they did not agree,
he threatened to order the Army to take over and operate the coalmines. When informed
that it's not authorized to do so he
said, "To hell with the constitution when the people want coal!". Pretty scary stuff huh ,sounds kind of like the
threat of Unconstitutional Executive orders and distribution of wealth livestock produced fertilizer Obama and the
Progressive left has been spreading the last eight years. Make no mistake the
Progressive Republican Era did not die and wither away after the Presidency of
William Howard Taft . It has thrived is the lurking shadows taking every
advantage to slowly and methodically destroy the Constitution.
The modern
Progressive movement began in 1897 with the presidency of William McKinley and
is considered one of its founding fathers. And was also highly influenced by
Robert M. La Follette, Sr. La Follette was a three term Congressman from
Wisconsin who wrote tariff legislation for William McKinley. And later was a driving force in the Ultra
Progressive presidency of democrat Woodrow Wilson who many consider Wilson to
have been a Communist. Progressives enjoyed a long unhindered run of 26 years in
the White House and so the birth of Big Government begins. It began through
Tariffs imposed by William McKinley. This was accomplished by Crippling
Regulation of Capitalism by Anti-Constitutional Theodore Roosevelt. To National
Income Tax the brainchild of (I’m sorry to say) Republican William Howard Taft and
Woodrow Wilson in 1913. And by the Socialistic 1930’s “New Deal” Entitlements
of Republican Herbert Hoover and Franklin D. Roosevelt.
The Deep
Roots of Progressivism may be found in Fabian Socialism so sadly begins the
death of The Party of Lincoln and Our Constitution Almost unbelievably the last
Republican President that stood by the Constitution was Benjamin Harrison in
1889 prior to the Presidency of Calvin Coolidge in 1923 during that 34 year
span Progressivism wrapped its tentacles around our Constitution thus beginning
to squeeze the very life from our cherished document … As

explains the Unholy birth of Progressivism so well in his Blog Post entitled “progressive”

“ The American “progressive” movement leaned
heavily upon and was greatly influenced by the Fabian Socialist Society in
England. The Fabian Socialists contribution to the “progressive” movement was
the idea that their goals could be achieved most successfully if their society
worked to re-mold the world nearer to their heart’s desire gradually, using
tactics of harassment and attrition, and striking full force only when their
moment was at hand. This strategy was employed by their namesake, the Roman General
Fabius Maximus, who used it in combat against the superior military forces of
Hannibal and the Carthaginians. This strategy, also known as gradual
inevitability, has been one of the cornerstones of the “progressive” movement
in America. Instead of attempting to over-reach for their long term goal to
subjugate the American public in one fell swoop, thereby ensuring that the
electorate of a country founded upon the pillars of freedom and liberty would
roundly and soundly reject their ideas, they decided to take on a seemingly
insurmountable task in small steps that were both more easily hidden and more
easily digested by the Republic.”
“The federal
income tax began in 1913, courtesy of “progressives” William Howard Taft and
Woodrow Wilson. Thanks to the unyielding activism of President Franklin D.
Roosevelt, who browbeat the United States Supreme Court into accepting his
legislation against their better judgment, Social Security was launched in
1935. Medicare and Medicaid came into being in the year 1965 courtesy of Lyndon
Baines Johnson and his Great Society agenda. Thanks to the concerted efforts of
numerous “progressives” in both houses of Congress, who reached secretive
backroom deal in the dead of night, twisted arms and employed the parliamentary
procedure known as reconciliation in the Senate, they, along with the Barack
Hussein Obama White House were able to pass “The Patient Protection and
Affordable Care Act,” commonly known as Obamacare, which was signed into law in
2010.”

an expanded government taking increasing control over the lives of
individuals.”
And with few
exceptions the Progressive Juggernaut has slowly but surely overtaken the Republicans it should be no surprise why
the “Fundamental Transformation” has not been totally at the hand Barak Hussein
Obama this transformation has had a huge assistance of Liberal Progressive Republicans. You may ask
how we can stop this destruction of our Constitutional Republic the election of
one two term Conservative President will help but will not in its self turn
back 127 years of destruction, one solution may be The Convention of the States as laid
out in Article 5 of the Constitution. It will not be easy but it is possible,8 of
the 34 states needed to convene a Convention are considering resolutions to
send representatives. This movement was brought to light by Constitutional
Conservative Author and Talk Radio Show Host Mark Levin in his book entitled “The
Liberty Amendments” Levin’s suggested amendments will help break the death grip
of big government and help to restore the American Sovereignty the Constitution
and the rule of law.
